Rawanq is taking a major step onto the world stage this week, participating for the first time at Seafood Expo Global 2026 in Barcelona. The company joins the Sultanate of Oman Pavilion at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via from 21 to 23 April, exhibiting alongside fellow Omani industry participants at the world's largest seafood trade event, which this year brings together more than 2,300 companies from 86 countries.

The Barcelona debut marks a turning point in Rawanq's international growth strategy.

"Barcelona is the natural stage for Rawanq's first major international appearance," said CEO Egill Árnason. "We have built a fleet and an operation that can supply consistent, high quality frozen seafood year round from multiple fishing regions, and we want to demonstrate that directly to the market. This is about long-term partnerships, not a one-off introduction."
